What We Believe
-
We believe at Empowered by Truth Ministries in the importance of returning back to, embracing our Ivriyt/Hebrew culture, which is returning to our Ibriyt(Hebrew)roots
-
We believe and hold that the covenant first given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob still and will forever apply to Israel, in which we are descended from
-
We believe in using the Hebrew names for our Eloah/Elohim (High Power(s)) which is translated as God and the long name we use is Yahuah (Yah-hoo-wah/Yah-hoo-ah name for LORD in Hebrew we ascribe to)and our messiah Yahusha Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah/Christ)
-
We believe there many different derivatives of the Hebrew language, names, and have no problem for one to use the English terms for the names of some of our ancestors as translated in the bible (Ex. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, etc...); However, we do encourage the use/study of the Hebrew names to establish a deeper meaning of them, and to bridge the gap to call them closer to what they were named
-
We do not make a practice of using the term Lord, seeing that the Hebrew word meaning Lord is Ba'al (a false god, see Hosea 2:16), so we say Yahuah instead of lord, and mostly, Elohim (High Power(s) depending on the context) for God
-
We use certain terms interchangeably like Holy Spirit and it's Hebrew form Ruach (Roo-ah-ck) Ha Kodesh
-
We believe from study that there are different Hebrew names used for Jesus but Yahusha/Yeshua is what we ascribe to; We will use in wisdom what people know and educate on why we call him what we do
-
We believe wisdom is the principle thing by which all things should flow
-
We believe that Yahuah (The Lord) is a spirit, infinite, eternal and unchanging in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, truth, and that He’s self-existing.
-
We believe in the salvation of mankind through Israel from our faith in Abraham in Yahusha Ha Mashiach (Christ Jesus)
-
We believe and know that the Transatlantic slave trade, Indian Ocean slave trade, and the Sub-Saharan slave trade serve as markers and signs but not limited to who/where is the Israelite diaspora are taken (i.e Blacks in the Americas, the Caribbean Islands, throughout Africa, etc... according to prophecies in the bible such as Deuteronomy 28, Luke 21, Zephaniah 3, Isaiah 11:11-12, etc... DNA, reconnecting to our Israelite elders in West Africa, etc...)
-
We believe and know that many West African tribes are our ancestors and are of Israelite descent
-
We believe and know the so-called Jewish people of the world today are Khazars, perpetrators/frauds and have stolen our identity as the Israelites of the bible along with the land promised to us
-
We believe works is a sign of your faith in The Word of Yah (LORD), not necessarily for Salvation, but because we've obtained spiritual rebirth in Yahusha Ha Mashiach
-
We believe that by accepting Yahusha Ha Mashiach as our Savior, striving to keep the Torah, and baptism we are reborn in Him and awaiting our physical Salvation upon His return
-
We believe in repentance, justification, sanctification and the baptism of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Ghost) and fire.
-
We believe in Elohim (the Godhead), but that Yahusha (Jesus) is the fullness thereof.
-
We believe Yahusha Ha Mashiach is adonai (Jesus the Anointed One is master) of all and the creator of the heavens and earth
-
We believe Yahusha (Jesus) suffered, bled, and died and now sitting at the right hand of the father.
-
We believe Yahusha (Jesus) is The very Word of Yah (God) embodied in flesh
-
We believe in the manifestations of the Spirit through the gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:8-11
-
We believe in water baptism by immersion, but not until repentance of sins, accepting Yahusha Ha Mashiach (Lord Jesus Christ), and striving daily to follow the Torah (Law of Elohim).
-
We believe in the offices mentioned in scriptures such as Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Elders, Deacons, Pastors, and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints and the edification of the body of Mashiach (Christ).
-
We believe in deliverance from demonic oppression/possession, worship, praise, prayer, Word, and prophecy.
-
We believe in living holy and righteous according to the Word of Yah (LORD) and the example of the witnesses throughout the bible.
-
We believe that the Sabbath Day is on the 7th day, is Holy unto Yah (Lord), and is a day of rest for us, and worship should be done on that day and everyday afterward.
-
We believe in the sanctity of marriage and that marriage is ONLY between a man and a woman.
-
We believe that the husband is the head of the home and the wife is a partner to him.
-
We believe that Yahusha (Jesus) is the covering for the man and the man is the covering for the woman (his wife and family)
-
We believe that all sin will be judged but forgiveness is necessary.
-
We believe in the importance of deep study in the Word of Yah (LORD) to understand the precepts laid out in the scriptures
-
We believe the whole bible is true and directly relevant to our lives but has to be rightly divided 2 Timothy 2:15.
-
We do not endorse the wearing of crosses, doves, and any other images that are connected to false Elohim (powers/gods) due to the following:
-
It is disrespectful to the memory of our Messiah seeing as though he was lynched/crucified on a stake, we take no pride in flaunting a torture used to kill him for our sins and our ancestors
-
The origins of these symbols are based/linked to idolatry, false god worship, and instruments used by gods and goddesses
-
We have been commissioned in the scriptures to not do these things as in representing The Most High Elohim (God)- Deuteronomy 4:11-24, Exodus 20:1-6
-
We do not endorse, nor ascribe to any kind of religious doctrine from Roman Catholicism or any of its daughter denominations
-
We do not believe in the system of the Church seeing that it's based and established in Roman Catholicism
-
The Word of Yah is the authority we stand and submit under and if we perceive anything contradicts it, then we will stand against it and fight it
-
We do not ascribe to or endorse the Religion of Christianity being that of Catholic origin, but we are 100% followers of Yahusha Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) and keepers of the Torah (Law)
-
We are Messianic (followers of the Messiah and keepers of the Torah) not Christian
-
Yahusha (Jesus) was/is an Israelite and that's what we follow
-
We believe in accountability to each other, fellowship of like minded believers, and in by no means associated with, or in fellowship with any Hebrew Israelite camps (extremists that harbor hatred in their heart towards other people groups)
