Cooking outside is a part of who we have always been. At Sukkot, everything is done outside. Welcome to the first edition of Ahuvah's Kitchen where you make it how you like it.

Lo Mein Ramen

Description: This meal is made with vegan organic ramen noodles and homemade lo mien sauce. Lo mein can be made with noodles and veggies like carrots, broccoli, spinach, cabbage, baby corn, celery, mushrooms, and/or whatever you’d like to add! This meal makes a great lunch or small, quick dinner. The great thing about this recipe is that you can make it how you like it! Prep Time- 5 minutes Cook Time-10 minutes Total Time- 15 minutes Serving Size- 1 pack of ramen #of Servings- 4 Ingredients: 1 box of Ocean’s Halo Ramen Noodles (Lo mein Sauce) 1 cup veggie broth ¼ cup coconut aminos 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tbsp ginger powder 2 tbsp Agave/brown sugar/maple syrup/coconut sugar (sweetener options, use only one) Directions: 1.Bring a half-filled sauce pan of water to a boil then turn heat down to a simmer 2.Add noodles to water and cook until noodles are loose then remove from water into a bowl 3.Add veggie broth into a cup along with ginger, garlic and sweetener of choice and stir until fully mixed 4.Pour sauce over noodles, use fork to toss noodles to get fully coated and enjoy!

Veggie Wraps & Skewers

Description: The veggie wraps are a combination of baby portobello mushrooms, bell peppers (red, green, yellow), onion, and tomatoes sauteed and added to either hard taco shells or soft shells/wraps. The skewers include cherry tomatoes, squash, zucchini, red onions, and baby portobello mushrooms slid onto skewers in alternating order. Both of these can be topped with Ha'Gevirah's sweet and spicy mayo made with cashews, a splash of fresh squeezed lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, salt, tumeric, agave, hot sauce, and water. (Veggie Wraps) Prep Time- 20 minutes Cook Time- 15 minutes Total Time- 35 minutes Serving Size- #of Servings- 4 Ingredients: 2 tbsp oil of choice (preferably avocado or grapeseed) 2 cups Baby portobello mushrooms 3 Bell peppers (red, green, yellow) 1 Onion 2 tomatoes 1 box Hard taco shells 1 package Soft shell wraps Directions: 1.Chop vegetables into slices 2.Add oil into a frying pan on medium heat 3.Add and sauté onions until golden 4.Add mushroom and sauté until water evaporates on high heat stirring continuously to prevent sticking 5.Reduce heat to medium and add bell peppers and continue to sauté 6.Stir in tomatoes and cook until soft then turn off heat 7.Serve on tacos or wraps *This can also be served over rice or quinoa (Veggie Skewers) Prep Time- 15 minutes Cook Time- 10 minutes Total Time- 25 minutes Serving Size- #of Servings- 8 Ingredients: 1 medium squash 1 medium zucchini ½ red onions baby portobello mushrooms cherry tomatoes wood skewers Directions: 1.Chop vegetables into chunks 2.Slide vegetables onto skewers in alternating order 3.Serve as is or grill for 10 minutes (Ahuvah’s Special Sauce) Prep Time- 5 minutes Cook Time- 0 Total Time- 5 minutes Serving Size- #of Servings- Ingredients: 2 cups cashews 1 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar ½ tsp salt ¾ cup water Directions: 1.Soak cashews in boiling hot water for 5-10 minutes 2.Drain cashews and add to blender along with the lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, salt and water 3.Blend until creamy to your liking and serve or chill in fridge
